Get picked up from your Sharm El Sheikh hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned bus and head to Cairo. As you drive, take in views of the Gulf of Suez and hear fun facts from your transfer guide. In Cairo, meet your Egyptologist guide and go to central Cairo to discover the artifacts at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. Skip the long with fast-track entry and learn about the mummification art of Ancient Egypt.
After the museum, cruise down the famous Nile River on an unforgettable 30-minute ride. Next, take a 1-hour break for lunch at a local restaurant before driving to the Giza Plateau to see the oldest of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. Get breathtaking views of the Pyramids of Giza as you explore the mortuary temples of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. Learn how the temples were constructed and hear the stories behind their legends. Continue to the Great Sphinx and admire this famous statue. Finish your time in Ancient Egypt with a stop at the Valley Temple, attributed to the Pharaoh Khafre, and marvel at this feat of ancient engineering.
If you wish, extend your visit with a camel or horse ride in the desert (available as an add-on). After visiting all the attractions, enjoy a shopping stop before beginning the journey back to Sharm El Sheikh.
