El Fayoum

A 2 days’ trip to Fayoum Oasis and Wadi El Rayan waterfall from Hurghada is one of the best over-day excursions from Hurghada. Fayoum is an oasis located 95 Km from Cairo in a depression in the Egyptian Western Desert. The Oasis is known for its farmlands and beautiful sceneries. It contains as well ancient monuments of Karanis, lake Qaroun as well as the Wadi Rayan Waterfall. This tour enables you to explore the Oasis and Wadi Rayan waterfalls. Additionally, the trip includes sandboarding at Wadi Rayan. With enjoying a night in the dessert with own atmosphere

OUR PROGRAM:

In the morning our guide will pick you up from your hotel by a private air-conditioned vehicle and you will drive through the desert road. Upon arrival at El Fayoum, you will see the local flora and we will explore Wadi El Rayan Valley in the western desert with waterfalls that are considered to be the largest waterfalls in Egypt. You can look forward to seeing extensive sand dunes and sail on a traditional Egyptian felucca. After sailing we will visit Mudawara Mountain to enjoy a short hike up and the fascinating view from the top.

Our next destination is Wadi El-Hitan (Whale Valley) displaying rare gigantic fossils of ancient whales and sharks. We will then have lunch with a view of Lake Quaron. After lunch, we continue to the famous Water Wheels which have become a prominent symbol of the town and the oasis. We will then make our amazing camp in the dessert with beautiful starts lightning with the fire camp.
